@Mariana: Yes she is the sister from Kaname ^^ in the Anime the kurans said that they had a another daughter but she was taken away by rido...

I love the pictures! And Vampire Knight is like the best anime ever! And are you talking about Yuki? I thought Rido was after her but her mother turned her into a human before he could get to her and her dad held off Rido but ended up dying :(. And it's sort of wierd talking about Vampire Knight on a Winx Club website. I LOVE VAMPIRE KNIGHT! But yeah, great work!

I don't like MOST Anime. I like SOME. The artists usually make girls look like skanks(bad language but just proving my point) like the tails and practically naked outfits-WWinx Club is slightly like that but it's not like they run around half dressed flirting

Well, do some basic research on vampires. Being a vampire insinuates that you have already undergone a transformation, permanent or not depends on your outlook on lore.
ReplyDeleteIt's like saying "transformation transformation!" A human transforms into a fairy who transforms into a vampire is just being redundant. The vampires of Vampire Knight are stylised vampires. They are not the real image of what vampires of lore are.
Vampires are immortal beings that have died in their mortal life and subsist on live blood. An important aspect is the fact that they are dead. Since they are immortal, they break the cycle of death and rebirth making them monsters of nature.
I can go on about how fairies are considered monsters in Western lore too but this is the Winx Club, which defeats the point.
Also, what is the story behind this vampire transformation? What is the connection to the series?
I agree with Kiku. She's right that vampires and fairies are not the same thing in a perspective.

ReplyDeleteI'm more about preserving the cultural significance of such things. Vampires and fairies are equally evil creatures in lore. Fairies are just talked about nicely because it was a bad thing to talk about them badly or else they would eat you, I think.

She's not a vampire like the typical! Not like in Bram Stokers Dracula... (i see the film so I know what i'm talking about)and she's no vampire from Twilight.
I have a own story from raiyla but it's in my language and it is too much work to translate it.
I like when I get cretiques but it's my fairy and I won't change something because of some criticals... ^^
I think here only matters about the ART and not of an idea.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can say is, it never mentioned in the Vampire Knight Series that the Kurans had another female child. Juuri and Haruka had two children; Kaname (the original baby before he was taken by Rido and killed) and Yuuki. The Kurans considered themselves having three children - Kaname, Yuuki, and the Ancestor Kaname. I'm afraid this other child you have recalled being mentioned, well it never existed. I believe you have misread the book and story line.
Although Raiyla is your made-up character; you indeed need to be careful with the claimings as Kaname belongs to Miss Hino 100% and using him as this so called lover of Raiyla, if ever caught could be troublesome. I know this is a fan character but it is also just informing you to watch yourself.
